Anyone experience chronic pelvic pain? Mine would come and go and now it’s pretty consistent over the last month. This last week has been non stop. Feels like a ache menstrual cramp feeling that radiates to my legs. I had a colonoscopy in 2018 along with a CT/MRI and found nothing. Had a ultrasound in 2019 found nothing but PCOS. I’m having another ultrasound next week, but anyone experience this? It’s really upsetting. I have other issues like reflux, IBS, cystocele, back pain all over… read more

Members shared their experiences with chronic pelvic pain, describing it as cramping that radiates to the legs, back, and feet, with many noting the challenge of determining whether symptoms stem from fibromyalgia or other conditions like endometriosis, PCOS, or hormone fluctuations. Several members offered practical relief strategies, including TENS machines applied to the abdomen or legs, Epsom salt baths, cold packs, magnesium supplements, estradiol cream, and over-the-counter pain relievers like Flarin. A recurring theme was the frustration of inconclusive tests, dismissive diagnoses, and the fear that mentioning fibromyalgia to doctors might lead to symptoms being brushed off as psychosomatic rather than taken seriously.

My pelvic pain is abit like period pains but a dull ache there constantly also need to urinate more frequent and can be from just above my belly button downwards. Almost feels like I'm bottom heavy when at its worst and when I sit it goes round into my lower back and thighs. It makes me very miserable ect and soon get bloated too which I thought would be better when I changed my diet and cut out gluten which did work to start with but has gone back to the dull nagging pain it has always been! 💕

@A MyFibroTeam Member thanks for responding. It’s horrible right? It’s so hard to know what to chalk up to fibro or it’s something else. I almost don’t want to mention fibromyalgia when I go to the doctor. They will just think it’s that or they make you believe it’s all in your head. I hate it.
