How do we calm those knots down? Any suggested treatment?

you would need a mayofascia massage, you may make them worse doing it yourself

First. Thank you for being an active partner in your wife's care.
I get knots in my arms and legs. Working them out is a must. However, sometimes it hurt to much. Soaking in a hot bath or if I have the energy, a shower and working them out in the heated water can help.

Having fibromyalgia does make you feel like your going crazy from time to time. Thank Goodness we all have each other to help us keep our sanity and sometimes our sent of humor comes through. The good thing is 24 hours a day you can ask a question and someone is usually on. Thanks for sharing

I haven't tried acupuncture, I'm more fond of massage and have hand-held ones throughout the house. But try it cause it's going to be a long road. Good luck 💜

Mine are usually in my arms. Sometimes you can gently massage. Others times the surrounding tissues flare more. Unfortunately she will have to experiment with what works best for her. What helps one time might not work the next time. Hoping she can find some kind of comfort.
