Has anyone been asked or decided to keep a pain diary? One of my doctors has asked me to keep one and I have no idea how to even begin. I would love suggestions, if you have any! Cute dog photo for attention.

I did that when I was first diagnosed with fibro. I wanted to find out what my triggers were and also rated my pain. I got a notebook. Once a day, I put the date, briefly described what I did that day, where I hurt, and rated my pain 0-10 (with 10 being the worst) as well as any meds I took for pain that day. I kept the diary 6-8weeks. Over time, I could see that stress, too much physical activity, and lack of sleep made my pain worse. I could also see that sometimes meds I was taking helped, and sometimes did not help. I really learned a lot about how fibro was affecting me. You can do this. It only takes a few minutes a day... let us know how it goes..πŸ˜‰
