Morning Shakiness And Weakness
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Sometimes when I first wake up in the morning my arms feel super weird: like shaky and weak. It is totally random and happens before I even get out of bed when i am still half asleep. If i try to pull my blanket back up over my body i notice it. Once im fully awake and get out of bed it is gone. Anyone experience anything similar?

Have you ever heard of sleep paralysis? While asleep, the body goes into a paralysis to prevent people from injuring themselves while sleeping. Sometimes, you wake but your muscles cannot move (that can be a very scary experience). This may be what you are experiencing, especially since you say you are semi awake. Search sleep paralysis on the web. It’s not all that uncommon.

I feel this but not in the morning, it is more later in the day. It is a weird feeling most definitely.
