Members with dry eyes shared a wide range of tips in response to the question about relieving dry eye symptoms, with over-the-counter drops like Systane, Refresh, Thera Tears, and Visine being the most commonly recommended options. Several members suggested warm compresses, saltwater eye baths, and cold tea bags as soothing home remedies, while others noted that screen time, air conditioning, and medication side effects can make dryness worse. A recurring theme was the possible connection between dry eyes and conditions like Sjogren's Syndrome and fibromyalgia, with many encouraging proper testing and regular eye doctor visits.

This is what my eye doctor said I have.
Posterior Vitreous Detachment (PVD) is a natural change that occurs during adulthood, when the vitreous gel that fills the eye separates from the retina, the light-sensing nerve layer at the back of the eye.

Causes really dry eyes.
Thats why he said to get Systane Balance for eyes cause it has what we need for our eyes not getting.

I bathe my eyes every morning with simple household salt dissolved in hot water, steep a white flannel in the water then hold against your eyes DONT WIPE
This stops the itch and soreness. Hope it works for you.

Systane Balance eyes drops. My eye doctor told me to get this. He said as we get older that our eyes do not produce as much oil as they should. These drops do help. Walmart has them.
