I have muscle spasms, like many others, but wondering if anyone has experienced an extended and repetitive spasms that includes an entire limb arm, leg(s) or part of their torso?
I’m either conscious or if asleep it wakes me, but I can’t make it stop. Have to ride it Out.
After I’m exhausted can’t stay awake.
It tends to happen after a period of stress.

Some come on instantly like that and then I take the pill, others I can feel coming stronger while I’m sleeping and I know it’s building up for a full cramp or spasm and I take a pill then and it keeps them away for a few days.
I have Cyclobenzaprine for when I get these. I only take them when I feel them coming on cuz they make me a zombie but they help. Do you take any magnesium malate? If not, you should take them everyday. 🤗
No need to apologise @A MyFibroTeam Member, I’ve just had a brief conversation with @A MyFibroTeam Member before and was hoping I could clarify her question for you.
Well, yeah there's a HUGE difference between muscle spasms and seizures, but the original question mentioned muscle spasms, so that's what I replied to. So sorry.
Beautifully written @A MyFibroTeam Member. While my episodes don’t last a long I have the eyes rolling back into my head, feel like my head is at the end of a psychedelic tube (maybe that’s the aura feeling you speak of...) & I feel as though I have headphones on as surrounding noise sounds muffled. Completely wiped out afterwards. Bit like you’d expect to feel if hit with a ray gun lol. Mine have not been as frequent now I removed the stress of full time work. If they start up again I will be looking for another neurologist.
