I have the floaters, have had them for several years now. The flashes started about 4 months ago. Was at the eye dr 2 weeks ago and he didnt seem overly concerned about the flashes. Did my regular exam, checked for cataracts and anything else. I did have a change which required new glasses but other than that he said I was good to go. Sometimes the floaters are many and sometimes not at all.

floaters are common with age. I have them. Some days are bad others there are none at all. I am 67 and recently had an eye exam. I even get little flashes of light in my periferial vision. I was told that is also common with age.

are your sugars good? floaters can manifest with high blood sugars.

I was thinking about this a view days ago. I see a lot of floaters but at my last eye doctor visit everything looked good. It’s scary.
