A truely caring friend asked me what was the fibromyalgia pain like.
Trying to put it in perspective and be descriptive enough so she would understand. I replied:
I have given birth to two children,
had two back surgeries and knee surgery. I have endured chemotherapy and radiation treatments. All this and fibromyalgia is the worst. Not only can the pain hit a 10, it Encompasses the entire body.
The past surgeries had a healing purpose. The chemo and radiation saved my life from cancer. Childbirth was a joyful time.
However, fibromyalgia has no purpose, no cure, no sustaining treatment, and no exit.
I looked over at my friend and she had tears running down her face. She got it.

No one gets it till they get it! Most of them just think we're lazy. I try to ignore but sometimes its hard to do that

For me I am very much a loner and don't tend to speak to people often, guess I have a great distrust of people.

Most People have no idea of how Fibromyalgia feels and for many of us sadly it's Spouses or significant other or Family Members that have little or no understanding of Fibromyalgia.

I always tell them to look it up on Dr Google and check out the Websites regarding Fibromyalgia.

Unfortunately even many Doctors and Rheumatologist don't always understand, either thinking it is all in our heads that we are imagining the symptoms.

Living with Fibromyalgia is very difficult but it is even harder when people don't realise the excruciating pain that you endure everyday of our lives, many symptoms getting worse over time.

Wishing you a Less Pain Free Day many Blessings Stay Safe and Sound.
