I’m not a doctor but swelling of digits that they call sausage finger is a classic symptom of psoriatic arthritis. I knew a woman who suffered from this type of pain was told for years her symptoms were “in her head.” She started to have the swelling digits and was finally diagnosed by a rheumatologist with psoriatic arthritis. Has your doctor explored this. Sending gentle hugs. 🤗
You are right Olga my son in the picture with me has psoriatic arthritis and has swollen digits.
Thank you for your replies, I have read about psoriatic arthritis, my fingers don’t look text book sausage like, but it’s worth exploring if this is not a common fibromyalgia symptom
