Need Good News During This Pandemic?

I thought that we could start a feed of "feel good" news to cheer each other up throughout this serious time... something to bolster our hope and inspire us.

This is a site that has a whole bunch of people doing good ad making us feel good ...dairy farmers refusing to throw away milk, growers giving away food, parents teaching life skills instead of abstract curriculums ....

Good news...hmm....my husband is cleaning the local Walmart and we are (knock wood) virus free so far. I thank anyone who cleans up after people. Thank you to everyone stocking and checking. Thank you to those pushing the carts and those who disinfectant them. Thank you to those who count and have the job of telling someone (s) that the store for the moment is at capacity. I am sure they have heard a few words from grumpy folk who have to wait.

Thank you to the truck drivers and teams who unload them.

Most of all, THANKS to everyone here! You are the families who support them and are here to listen when folks like me worry about our people out there.

Peace and blessed be

We all can use good news. I talked to my daughter today a farmer. And she was talking about all the different veggies that they would have this summer. She is worried that they will be having to give the produce away because the restraunts would not be open. I reassured her that the people that were hunting for fresh vegs would be knocking at their door. We are all looking forward to the summer months. The virus will let up and we will all be able to get out and enjoy the weather. God will smile on us and give us peaaceful days to come. Peace.

Another great news story is of an older farmer in NE Kansas/USA who weeks ago mailed NY govenor one of his only masks and asked that it be given to a nurse or doctor in the then epicenter of outbreaks in the USA. The governor held up the handwritten letter and mask and described it as a "beautiful act of humanity" especially after the letter also revealed that the elderly farmers wife only had 1 lung and was a diabetic. More good news, when his homestate officials sought to find him and thank the farmer for his selfless act, thei discovered that this guy had to quit college in order to save the farm due to his father's failing health. He had to quit college innthe 1970's without earning a degree being only 2 credits short πŸ˜₯ so the Kansas Governor awarded the 70 plus year old farmer a bachelor's degree saying that he had learned the most important lessons ❀πŸ˜₯πŸ’β€πŸ˜©πŸ€—
