I'd love recommendations on the kinds of aids to use and tips for what circumstances you use them in.

I basically just say my brain has given up trying to tell the difference between pain and sensation. It's short simple, and vaguely accurate to the theory that fibro has to do with some sort of neurological error.

I use my feet, painful as it is sometimes. I wear orthotics and it's much better than it would be without them.

I use a cane when I have to go to places, I honestly probably need a walker for long walks..but I don't even like using a cane and don't always use it...I'm only 30 and I feel like I'm about 100 sometimes and I fall a lot and have weakness all over. When I go to the store I always get a cart even if I don't need it for what I'm getting and I call it my "walker" instead of a cart.
