Members opened up about experiencing more pain on one side of their body than the other, with the overwhelming majority reporting that their right side hurts worse, though a smaller group noted left side pain and others experienced pain shifting between sides unpredictably. Several members shared that structural issues like hip misalignment, leg length differences, prior injuries, scoliosis, and spinal problems contribute to one-sided pain, and many found relief through physical therapy, chiropractic care, massage therapy, wearing compression stockings or insoles, and being mindful of posture and body mechanics. A recurring theme was the deeply individualized nature of fibromyalgia pain, with members finding solidarity in shared experiences of costochondritis, nerve pain, swelling, and the frustration of aches that move, worsen with weather changes, and disrupt daily life and sleep.

FayeArnoldGant, you are so right getting old is not for the faint at heart. We must be strong and try our best to keep the faith knowing when we do get to the other side we will find peace and no more pain. My beloved mother always told me whatever you do, do not get old. My answer was it is too late mother I am right behind you, LOL!! Sadly we all get old we have no choice, it is what it is. I just saw on TV where a 113 year old woman is a covoid19 survivor, God love her. Another was 108 year old woman. (I do so hope I do not live to be that old).
I can only imagine all the sadness they had to go thru in life but hope they have a lot of happy memories too.

I feel like that myself as well, especially when sitting on a chair my body hurts so much depending upon which side is more painful and what I have been doing.

My right side was also the one that hurt the worst with costocondritis! It’s very painful! Heating pad really helps. Good wishes to everyone who gets that. πŸ’žπŸ’ž
