Anyone get weird head feelings? Not sure how to explain it really. Kinda tingly but it's feels like all the muscles in my face and back of my head are tight then all the sudden will let loose. I feel like bobble head sometime, and even having my hair up hurts? This a normal thing in the fibro world?

Members connected over the frustrating experience of unusual head and facial sensations, with many describing tingling, tightness, sudden muscle releases, and scalp tenderness that makes even brushing hair painful. Several members shared that they had undergone tests like CT scans and MRIs that came back clear, leading doctors to attribute the symptoms to fibromyalgia-related neuropathy, often called the creepy crawlies. A recurring theme was the relief of knowing they are not alone in these strange sensations and the ongoing challenge of getting doctors to take fibromyalgia seriously as more than just a syndrome.

I get tingling in my face and head at times. Mostly on my right side around my mouth and chin but at times it happens at the base of my skull. Today it’s a spot about the size of a dime on my chin and only when I smile. It’s so weird. I had an MRI and it was clear so I’m not sure what the cause is.

yep, it's a form of neuropathy that is common in fibro. I get the same thing in my back--the creepy crawlies I call them

I did too. I'm not officially diagnosed with fibro yet. They keep telling me they think its heading that direction but the process is long. I'm a year in now and just finally got a doctor that listens and doesn't think I'm crazy. I've had x-rays, blood work more times then I can count, ct scan and mri and all come back normal.

Yes I get a weird sensation on side of my face up to my hair and it hurts to comb. It comes and goes. Good luck

I have the tingling and almost numbness in my face as well @A MyFibroTeam Member
Mine in on the left side. It does feel strange. We are not alone in this symptom as many others with Fibro also have it. I don't know why or what is the underlying cause.
