So looking online hasn't been much help but my immune system has been significantly impacted since I've had fibromyalgia (plus I'm asthmatic) and I've seen a lot of people with chronic illnesses saying that chronic illness gives a higher chance of getting this but wondering if anyone knows?? I'm really worried as I'm pretty run down/exhausted right now anyway and I really don't want to get it especially with asthma. Do you think it's more likely with fibro? And does anyone have any ideas or… read more
My husband is a virologist and a physician. He said that anyone with compromised immune system should be careful when going to crowded places and avoid sick people as much as possible. But FM by itself is really not categorized as a disease with compromised immune system. So do not worry too much about COVID-19, because your worry will cause you more FM flare ups. So to avoid that, just relax and take care of yourself or perhaps get your mind busy with other things like watching a comedy or something else you like 😊. Avoid the news for now because it will only add to your worry
I have an overactive immune system because of the autoimmune stuff, but it is faulty. I take doses of vitamin C and zinc along with a morning veggie/fruit smoothie.
I also take Cordceps which is similar to Reishi. (It's a fungi) Not only does it boost the immune system but provides you with ATP (energy booster). I had bronchitis for a month and antibiotics were not doing anything. I took Cordyceps for a only a week and I was recovered. I take it when I feel run down or a cold coming down.
Colloidal silver is another good immune booster.
Probiotics too.
Glad to see you on here. I hope you are doing okay. Hugs Amzel
