I get the same feelings. I often feel like my kidneys hurt but I have them checked every year and they are always fine. maybe it's just that area? I feel bruised internally. Other areas get that feeling too. Sometimes I wake up with my hips hurting. It's internal though. My hips don't hurt all the time and I don't have osteoporosis or any bone problems. I don't get it. Other areas of my body get this sensation. It's really painful. It comes and goes. It can be scary because with other symptoms, I don't want to credit everything I feel to Fibromyalgia. It seems it usually ends up being another symptom of it though!

I understand what you mean. My stomach, esophagus & intestines will hurt (feels like they are bruised or tender) & i will get muscle spasms or twitches along the stomach/abdominal wall & esophagus. Ive had chronic stomach problems, Ibs & eosinophilic esophagitis for years so i asked my gastroenterologist about it. After several tests he diagnosed me with non functional dyspepsia. He reminded me that fibro affects the nerve endings & muscles in the body and that the organs are made up of nerves & muscles so they can also be affected. He said that the current treatment plan was to prescribe 60mg cymbalta. Im trying to do without it for now due to a prior unpleasant cognitive reaction but i may have to try it anyway.

Gentle Hugs,

Yes! That's happening to me right now. I feel as though I have a terrible infection or something. I have deep dull aches that feel like I am all bruised internally - just as you said.

Yes, I know exactly what you're talkin about. Feels like someone pulled my insides out, stomped on them and put them back in (I guess thats my description). Its weird and unnerving because you feel like somethings terribly wrong.. Then boom its gone (thank goodness). I hope it's not a frequent symptom.
I just deal cause I have a $5,000 deductable so I dont go to Drs; no RX to take. 🌼Hope your symptoms subside or even better go away🌼
