this is my first time posting I hope this is the right place! okay so I’ve realized basically any random weird symptom I have is linked to fibro! I was wondering does anyone else get itch attacks? My entire body is so itchy right now, I took a shower, didnt help, put lotion on didnt help. I read online that Tylenol helps it but doesn’t seem to be kicking in yet! It’s just so random, I’ve had an extremely good couple of weeks w little pain so obviously I’m just glad this symptom isn’t painful!

Members confirmed that sudden, intense itching is a recognized symptom of fibromyalgia, with many describing attacks that feel internal or nerve-related rather than skin-related, and some experiencing sensations like bugs crawling under their skin. Several members shared relief strategies including antihistamines like Benadryl, creams such as CeraVe or Gold Bond, cortisone cream, and avoiding scented or perfumed products which can worsen symptoms. A recurring theme was that while the itching can be unpredictable and frustrating, it is a shared experience within the fibromyalgia community, and members encouraged seeing a rheumatologist or allergist if symptoms become severe or unmanageable.

Yes. Also get the feeling of bugs under my skin. Cerave cream, benedryl, and Tylenol usually make it bearable.

Fibro itch is definitely a thing! Sometimes it makes me self-conscious when other people see me all itchy for no reason.
