Along with the usual anxiety and depression, I also have a weak, lightheaded feeling most of the time and have recurring dizzy spells which are usually really quick but severe. I've been through a few doctors and physical therapists and several tests. No real diagnosis from the testing except it was all anxiety induced. I also get dizzy all of the time. It's usually when I haven't eaten enough because of my digestive system. All of us deal with our balance, that's what my Doctor used to test me for fibro. You really can't do anything for it because the nerves can't relay the message right. Also hurting and being stiff doesn't help much either. Try to walk heal to toe in a line and you might find that you can't do it. Also our reflexes are hyperactive.

I recently had a test done where they record your eye movement as they pump hot and cold water into your ears.. it makes you feel like your spinning and falling!
Interestingly they told me my ears are giving my brain quite different signals .. waiting now to see the consultant..

@A MyFibroTeam Member Thanks! I do the heel to toe exercises and other vestibular retraining exercises. They did help with balance issues but not with the dizziness :(
