I have the same symptoms as you and I have been told countless times I don’t have Fibro. You just need to find a good doctor. The only person helping me is my neurologist who says all of these symptoms are from migraines. He says that for whatever reason the nerves become overly sensitive and that I need meds that calm that down. Another neuro in his same group said prolonged anxiety causes this state for the nerves. Basically though that’s what Fibro is- over active nerves that’s signal something is wrong when there isn’t anything wrong. He just doesn’t call it Fibro. But I get the same treatment people with Fibro get. I’ve had bouts of twitching like you and I will say that when I stop thinking about it (I’ve done cognitive behavioral therapy) it eventually settles down. This has been true for many symptoms.

Sounds like you may need another opinion, dear one. Doctors are imperfect & many times very uninformed. I will go another step & say some don't feel compassion. You can validate yourself. Looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, well, is it a duck or not? Some disease process is at work. Do not give up. If you can, call your insurance company or write. Many times my written word has exceeded the strength of anything else I could do. This is where your fragile self can still rally a cry when your physical self cannot. I pray for your care to improve & you are worthy of being heard. Mean it.
