I have had Fibro for 23 yrs now. I am also on Cymbalta. Recently my body broke out in a multiple of red spots. Suffice to say I looked like I had chickenpox or measles. This was not the case. My daughter in law is going through this now, same symptoms, starting on her feet moving up here chest. She's had every test done including biopsy of the skin all negative. Diagnosis is vasculitis. Redness does fade some and it was itchy, I gave her thc/cbd cream for relief. She's doing better thankfully. Good luck, 💙
My daughter has this. She broke out in unexplained hives. After a lot of testing it was determined that a virus attacked my daughter and instead of getting sick it became hives. There was nothing they could do to help her because they never really knew when the virus is gone or if she can get attacked by that same virus again. The answer to fix the problem with she takes Zyrtec once a day every day. That happened between 5 to 10 years ago and she still taking the zyrtec to this day. She also has dermatographism which means when she gets a scratch on her skin it leaves a welt. Also, This Can also be a sign of a thyroid problem. My daughter does not have thyroid issues. I had shingles that lasted for 5 months. But also sounds like a constant reaction to being allergic to something. Glad they’re testing you. Over the counter Benedryl helps with the insane itching a little.
its one of the main side effects from Cymbalta, there's lots other meds out there that they can prescribe depending on what condition they prescribed it for. I know its the go to for fibro but if causes other side effects , my welts used to drive me nuts
Yes that is what my rash ?? looks like except luckily for now its not on my face or neck...they are still investigating the source of the origin but vasculitis and its side effects are still so unknown. There are 15 to 20 aliments affiliated with Vasculitis. Even CDC Atlanta have not been able to pin down what causes this unknown rash. Not all types of vasculitis can be prevented, for example, vasculitis resulting from autoimmune diseases of which I have 3. Fibro, Thyroid and Rheumatism. The rash doesn't hurt but it is disfiguring. Not something you want to go out in public with. People will be frightened that you have some disease...it looks like chickenpox. Ugg
