Trigeminal neuralgia (TN or TGN) is a chronic pain disorder that affects the trigeminal nerve.[1] There are two main types: typical and atypical trigeminal neuralgia.[1] The typical form results in episodes of severe, sudden, shock-like pain in one side of the face that lasts for seconds to a few minutes.[1] Groups of these episodes can occur over a few hours.[1] The atypical form results in a constant burning pain that is less severe.[1] Episodes may be triggered by any touch to the face.[1] Both forms may occur in the same person.[1] It is one of the most painful conditions, and can result in depression
I have had this issue before. Depending on the cause of the pain a lot of headache anspain in the temple and ear region comes from hypertension and stress. I recommend to have blood pressure taken by doctor and see if hypertension is an issue. There are many options that help this. I recommend legal medical cannabis. It isnt for everyone and its ok to not want it. If your pain is coming from the jaw, best to see a dentist. I wish you all the best and big hugs.

That was 4 days ago. Did you get it checked out? How are you feeling? I get TMJ too but the chest pain can be part of fibro, though no doctor will believe you, but please make an appt if you can. Love you!

OW! did you use a warm compress? ow! They were so lucky it wasn't me! well only because my temper is short these days, they'd get at least a bruise! (oh, sorry about that pinch, I didn't see your arm there) oh that hurt just to read that. Sorry that happened! gentle hugs, too!
