Members shared a wide variety of medications and therapies they use to manage fibromyalgia pain, with the most commonly mentioned being Gabapentin, Cymbalta, Tramadol, Naproxen, muscle relaxers, and Tylenol or Tylenol 3s, alongside topical treatments like Voltaren cream, Tiger Balm, and lidocaine ointment. Several members emphasized non-pharmaceutical approaches that brought them relief, including CBD oil, medical marijuana, heating pads, ice packs, Epsom salt baths, magnesium supplements, and meditation for stress and pain management. A recurring theme was that fibromyalgia is deeply individual, and finding the right combination of treatments often requires years of trial and error, with what works for one person not necessarily working for another.

I take Lyrica (150mg 3xs a day); Tramadol (50mg up to 4xs); Robaxin (750mg two twice a day) and I also use lidocaine ointment, trigger point injections, Ibuprofen. Melatonin to help with sleepless painful nights and sometimes Magnesium. I have tried so many things over the years (14+) and these are the best combination I have found for my body. It is hard to go through different treatments to see what will work best for us or work at all. We are all so different.

@A MyFibroTeam Member Thank you. We have Tylenol OTC in the US and Tylenol w/codeine by prescription too. I havent heard of the numbered Tylenols. Unfortunately, all codeine products make me very sick to my stomach so I steer clear whenever possible. When I did have to take it in recent years [ie., postop] I had to cut 1 pill into thirds and space taking it by two hours so my stomach can handle it and even then it's iffy.

For my Fibromyalgia I use Naproxen and take Panadol Osteo because I am not allowed any Opiods.
At night I take Amitriptyline to help me sleep, use Deep Heat Rubbed on my back, heat pads, and Epsom Salts as well soaking sore feet, you can also have a relaxing bath in them as well.
Whatever medication and alternative therapies works for you, won't always work for someone else.
