Does anyone experience sweating easily? Seems like I read that it was a symptom of fibro somewhere. I was putting laundry away and started feeling sweaty and hot. It’s cold in the house. I started to worry then my anxiety caused my heart rate to go up. I do tend to worry over any changes in my body. I just had an ekg It was normal. I am not on any meds, wondering if it’s hormones as well. Just light activity makes me sweat easily.

Members overwhelmingly confirmed that excessive sweating with minimal activity is a common fibromyalgia symptom, sharing experiences of profuse sweating from simple tasks like climbing stairs, showering, or decorating, often accompanied by cold extremities at the same time. Several members described initially seeking cardiac evaluations due to concern, only to find that their hearts were healthy and the sweating was fibro-related, offering reassurance to others experiencing this symptom for the first time. A recurring theme was learning to accept and manage the sweating without alarm, recognizing it as part of the unpredictable nature of fibromyalgia rather than a sign of something more serious.

After putting decorations on my small Christmas tree, my hair in back was soaking weak. Happens to me with the slightest activity. Over the years I've run to the doctor for all the various symptoms of fibro when I didn't know about fibro symptoms. I'm now assured that I'm in good health and almost every 'symptom' I have is fibro and comes and goes. I'm now much more relaxed about symptoms.

I sweat horribly with the slightest activities. Its usually from morning until early afternoon. Stairs, having a shower, vacuuming, going to the store, going from the cold to a warm room.... all cause major sweating. Meanwhile I can have icy hands, feet and limbs while sweating. And thsn in the afteroon and night im frozen.

Hi Susan win. Yes I sweat excessively no matter the temperature. It's something I've always dealt with.

I also have a sweat problem. After a shower , with cold to lukewarm warm water, it is pouring. After getting dressed and doing any chores. I always have a dry cloth with me to dry my face, neck and hair. When outdoors then my whole body is poring with sweat. Working in the garden it is worse. Trying to just accept it. The easiest! !

Susanwin me and my family Dr were concerned by the profuse sweating with sight activity at first as well. I was even thoroughly screened by a cardiologist because of it. He discovered nothing wrong. And thw ironic part: sweating triggers more sweating lol.
