Does Anyone Get Hot And Cold Flushes With Their Fibro?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I’m only 25 and I constantly get really hot and then really cold flushes and sometimes, I’ll have pins and needles feelings in my hands and feet if I press on it for a little while. I’m so scared I hate this so much. Does anyone else get this?

@A MyFibroTeam Member ... your description is EXACTLY the same as my experience. Additionally, I find living in a cold climate truly tortureous and devastating to my health. I can't adjust to the weather changes and the cold literally makes me sick and invalided.

I'm about to post about cold temps in women with fibro.

Yes! For years now! My average temp is 97F and I am usually freezing all the time. But I wake up in the middle of the night so hot that I turn down the heat. Only to wake up shivering. My doctors haven't acknowledged this drastic temp change I get throughout the day. They just shrug at me like it's all in my head

@A MyFibroTeam Member I feel crazy sometimes! The doctors give me the weirdest look until they feel my hands in 80F weather and their freezing cold!

My whole life I was always cold, since fibromyalgia I’m still cold a lot, but I get horrible hot flashes....then back to cold. Sometimes I take black cohosh, it does help minimize the hot flashes. I don’t like taking it for long periods because there are warnings about your liver. It’s a double edge sword 🙁

Pl1🌸...You might check with your Dr... symptoms are the same for many different things. Could be blood pressure, food, thyroid, meds, etc etc. I know you’re too young for menopause at 25😊. I hope you get some relief soon. Hugs🦋🌸🦋🌸🦋,Deb
