Has anyone heard of or been diagnosed with Mast Cell Activation Syndrome? I've just been referred to an allergy immunology specialist to test me for this and I find it interesting that Fibromyalgia (not just the symptoms of but fibromyalgia in itself) is considered a symptom of this disorder. Curious if anyone else has encountered this or has been diagnosed with this. From what I'm told it's hard to diagnose and takes a long time and a lot of doctors ruling stuff out to even suspect.
I’ve heard about it. It’s just becoming more diagnosed or an accepted diagnosis.
Does anyone else automatically go into a flare as soon as anything remotely stressful happens? I can be told something and basically within minutes im in pain etc..

I have not met one person in my life or on line that does not have fibro along with chronic fatigue and many other diseases & am curious if you have?
Hey Cindy. I can't say I just have fibro, but everything else I have co-exists with fibro. IBS, anxiety and MDD.
Hi, I take low dose Naltrexone (LDN) which has helped me lots w/pain... No side effects. Good luck!!

Hi. I am going to a PCP (not really mine bc they keep leaving) today because I’d like to get a referral to get an MRI done to see if it’s more to my back pain than just fibromyalgia. I have been suffering with a mountain of ailments over the years and have been diagnosed with a few things and have been told that I’ve had some issues with things that were then just put to the side.
