I have dealt with itchy scalp for some years, changing shampoos constantly My Dr suggested Nizoral and have also tried Shapiro shampoo & conditioner (helps with hair loss more so) I have found what's called Scalp Relief Tea Tree (leave in) which has Tea Tree, Mint & Coconut Oil and love it but can't always find it

Oh yes! It can get really sore. Recently just an innocent ponytail had my poor scalp so sore fro two days after. And yes, I also get the itching now and then.
My main thing is a creepy crawly feeling with some itch. Also a pin prick feeling or mosquito bite feeling.

My scalp often feels really warm, almost hot, especially during a flare up. It is also sensitive to touch at times and I'm very limited as to how long I can put my hair up in a pony tail as it causes a lot of discomfort.
