Pain Frequently
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have had fibromyalgia for about 4 years, that i know of and i honestly feel it has progressed recently. I have somewhat noticed a change and just a little confused. I have noticed that while areas of my body hurts, my pain is more severe in one area more so than the others. For instance, my shoulder is killing me and the pain runs down my arm and i swear my forearm is swollen. The doctor i saw said fibromyalgia is not pain specific, but she can't find anything else wrong. I'm just… read more

Most of our muscle pain comes from unhealthy Fascia. Untreated, it will dehydrate and tighten, become knotted (trigger point), and cause widespread pain all over our body.
The solution is to rehydrate the Fascia. Myofascial Release Massage Therapy and Foam rolling/stretching will break up the tight Fascia and rehydrate the it, lessening the pain, tightness and inflammation.

My pain is often specific and I feel has progressed as well. There is still so much that doctors don’t know about fibromyalgia so it’s hard to take their word as truth. Everyone’s pain/issues are different. Some days I have pain in just my arm or leg other times I feel bad all over. Mine started with shoulder pain and has progressed to everything under the sun. Hope you find some relief!

I had pain for months all down my left leg regardless of whether in bed, sitting down or standing. I changed my job from catering to office work but now get on top of everything else throat and chest infection every few weeks and am looking like I will lose my job. I think it's because I am run down, tired exhauted and the pain just wears you down. Trying to keep up with work 5 days a week is too much on top of everything else but as I cant get no financial help from anywhere I have to, its disgusting that there is no financial support for someone as ill as I.

I feel my fibro has progressed and it's very hard to get people to understand what it's like. I have found it very difficult to keep a job and worry what I will do when I cannot work as no financial help seems to be available. The job I am in now was 45 hours until I was poorly over about 3 months on and off due to pushing myself too much. The workplace agreed on me dropping to 30 hours but with no break as its 6 hours a day so missing lunch 5 days per week. Any advise please.

Yes, you are right. Mine started with middle upper spine hurting. Later neck hurt. Then right arm down to my hand.
