Anyone Else Grinding Their Teeth In Their Sleep ?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Mine are so crooked I couldn't use a mouth guard now because it would not fit.

Grinding will shift your teeth.

I have a terrible tooth grinding problem. There are drugstore mouth guards that are soft and suitable to just about anyone. Have a look see. I have bitten expensive guards in half and nearly swallowed the parts. The drugstore ones I found are soft, heatable quickly in hot water to mold to teeth. I still get a little claustrophobic, truth told. But with use they do ease jaw pain. And likely save broken teeth. I have fractured 4 teeth.

I grind my teeth and I have crippling tmj syndrome. I’ve tried 3 expensive mouth guards from 3 different dentists... none worked.

Well not just teeth grinding which all yes absolutely but between that and acid reflux and being in deep deep fatigue so that I do not take care of my teeth properly I am losing all of them. I have had so many root canals it's unbelievable. There are so many areas that fibro and chronic fatigue affect. I'm just starting to realize that just about every complaint I have goes back to these diseases. For instance pelvic pain I sleep every night with a heating pad because I have that help pelvic pain but it apparently is another problem coming from fibro.

I dont grind my teeth but i clench them so bad that Ive caused TMJ and shifting with my teeth. Ive noticed its related to pain. Im always tensing my muscles and gritting my teeth unintentionally when my pain rises.
