Have had tinnitus for years now thanks to taking amiltripline. I was upping the dose each week when it started. Havent taken amitriptyline since and never got rid of the tinnitus either. Some days our worse than others, my tinnitus is one sided which apparently is unusual, ive had MRI scans to check everything is ok and all came back clear. I now have a hearing aid to help as it has affected my hearing on tinnitus side too

It comes and goes for me, too. I always have soothing music or nature sounds playing in the background. It helps a lot..

Mine comes and goes. If I'm flaring it'll be worse. Some days I don't notice it.

Yes, it comes and goes for me too, it's as if someone has flicked a switch and they start ringing and randomly goes again.
