My acupuncturist and I were talking earlier this week about how my body could be reacting to past traumatic experiences from my childhood that I don't remember. It seems like it's worth a shot.
I had "growing pains" as a kid in my legs. Also had what a podiatrist diagnosed as "sensitive soles". Lol. I got yukky "good" shoes when I was middle school age. Found out as adult that those are FM symptoms. I wear shoe orthitics now with foam pads. Also stomach aches which made me late for school. And always had terrible period cramps. Glad that's over.😊
I think the FM may have started after I stupidly jumped from a very high place onto a concrete sidewalk when I was about 9 or 10. My back was killing me but I managed to get home. Many years of emotional stress has also taken it's tole . I now wear orthotics and foam inserts in my shoes and have an arthritic back as well as FM. Lots of pain and tiredness .
They now know what its called , but still no good solution. PTL there's something better in store someday. I'm talkin' Heaven! 😊
I was at a fribromyalgia group the other week and they where asking about growing pains when i was young i asked why and they said they have been looking further afield and earlier signs for it i also have researched it myself and came across something stating that fibromyalgia was cause by trauma i can trace my lower back pain back to when i was pregnant with my second child as he was to heavy for me to carry xx
