Has Anyone Experienced Dilated Pupils With The Onset Of A Migraine? Please, Let Me Know. It Scares Me And My Family.

I have been fighting not getting a migraine for 5 days now. My doctor has me on blood pressure medication which is working. I went into the bathroom at work to wash my hands and noticed my left pupil was almost twice the size of my right. I felt fine other than some dull pain at the bas of my skull and an occasional twinge above my left eye signaling a migraine. I took usual 4 Motrin and 2 Tylenol and after half an hour felt better. Now back to fighting.

Thank you so much Toni, I will give it a try. Gentle hugs to you. I can share this with you and hope it helps. It may sound silly but it helps me a lot at times. I go to YouTube and listen to one of Thomas Hall's rain recordings with a healing message imbeeded in it while wrapped in my softest blanket. Much love and gentle hugs sent to you.

My right eye sometimes dialates really big while my left eye stays normal. It really freaks doctors out. Lol. It has been that way my whole life and doctors say it is ok. I have never gotten a diagnosis like wondermum has but they did say to let the hospital know so they dont think I had a stroke. If it continues, let your doctor know to be safe. Hugs

I have a permanently dilated pupil. Have had it for years. It's known as Adie's Tonic Pupil. The other one is very sluggish too. Ophthalmologist cannot tell me what caused it, probably an infection. Hope you find some relief from the migraines.
