Sudden Itchy Patches
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I will suddenly get what feels like a shooting patch of itchhiness. As in a quick bout of itchy skin which comes and goes and is often at just one area. It is not like regular itching from dry skin for example. It may be related to nerve issues. Does anyone else get this? Thanks

I know, it makes no sense, but I have been itchy lately, and the pollen outside is really strong. maybe, in my case, when the pollen hits my skin it also irratates me. as i am sneezing etc. only a thought.

nerve issues is a possible cause also.

Yes, MargeManson, I have also done that. My husband who sleeps lightly reports I constantly flail my hands.

Yes. It never lasts long. The worse I was one night the itching woke me and had both arms with itching, but no redness. Just one of those erratic little presents that get dropped off. My meds all say can cause itching, but this doesn't seem to be related.
