It looks like a ganglion cyst, my husband has one and is having it removed as he kept having it drained and it returned every time. Painful, and especially wearing shoes......I hope you can get it looked at. The top of your foot has so many nerves, numbness and tingling happens with it. Thinking of you 💕

I have that same bump on my foot and ankle,,didn't know what it is

Well it is a cyst from the bone in foot rising and pushing up. I have on both feet but left foot is worse. I have that and tendonitis and giant bone spur. The cortisone injection didn't work they gave me a splint to wear away night. Doesn't seem to working. I can't afford to go back. I have to many other things going on

I could be a ganglion cyst--I had one on my wrist. And pushing on it or god forbid HITTING it caused alot of pain and numbness. My doctor at the time told me to avoid getting it operated on unless it became too much problem to deal with anymore. I followed that advice and 30 years later it suddenly disappeared. But mine wasn't NEARLY as large as that and on the foot it's bound to hurt to wear shoes!

Only ever seen swelling like that on wrist! Hopefully your foot doctor will give you the answer and get it removed or treated properly! God bless.xxx
