The only things I try to do is have Vitamin B12 Shots from the Doctor, I also take Vitamin D capsules and make sure I eat plenty of fruit and vegetables that have Vitamin C in them.

Get your Doctor to do a blood test and check for Vitamin Deficiencies which are mentioned above, plus Potassium and Magnesium also get your iron levels checked you might need iron tablets as well as eating protein in your diet.

Even with all this at times I still feel fatigued at times. It's a symptom of Fibromyalgia unfortunately. But we can try and make it bearable.

Hope that you feel a bit better soon.

Blessings Gentle Hugs 💖

i'm so sorry to hear that. there are plenty of medications that are indicated for fatigue- they may be an anti-depressant (ssri or ssnri is the category of drugs that falls under). i am on two pharmaceutical medications & they help me greatly. it is quite common for folks to be on some form of meds- i agree that if possible, you should seek help from another doctor. it's actually confusing to hear that your current doctor wouldn't suggest this. from my understanding, they are one of the first things suggested for fatigue in a lot of situations. i'm sorry you're going through this.

of course, your treatment plan is always your choice & you have the right to decide what treatment options you're comfortable with.

i also take vitamins (magnesium, a multivitamin, fish oil, probiotics, an extra zinc supplement, and an extra iron supplement). unfortunately, it is all so complicated that i can't tell you which vitamins and supplements i think, work the best for me. i started taking them all at different times & for different reasons, so i don't know which ones help. there may be an experimentation period where you have to figure out what works for you. i usually only search sites that use scientific research (webmd, the mayo clinic, university websites) to look things up personally. many of us don't have the luxury of putting life on hold while we do this experimentation so just try to work it in when you can.

the good thing is, this support group is here for you while your coping strategies are falling in to place <3 remember there is nothing wrong with you for not being able to do what you used to do. there is so much wisdom in the gentle and slow approach to life that we require- in fact, i think that wisdom can be a teacher and offering to others. please keep us updated on if you find a new doctor and/or are able to obtain help from your current one. sending you peace.

I was recently diagnosed with fibromyalgia. I have been having symptoms off and on since I was 29 yrs. old. When I was 29 it was really bad for a few months. There would be days I could barely move because the pain was so bad. My symptoms are pain, tenderness, stiffness, headaches, and fatigue. I was recently started on BEST HEALTH HERBAL CENTRE FIBROMYALGIA HERBAL FORMULA, which have helped the pain and declined all my symptoms completely. I work a full-time job now. Please don’t shoot me lol, but as much as I hate to try and do things, once I talk myself into going for a walk or doing something physical but easy, I feel so much better afterwards!! I get you with the exhausted just washing your hair, which is why I now usually only shower twice a week, but honestly, the more I do and the earlier I do it, the better I feel. Sure I may need a nap in the afternoon or it may not work everyday but for the most part, it’s more positive than negative!! If you can find a friend that can go for a walk or do whatever with, sometimes that helps. Also, if they won’t take no for an answer unless they know it’s totally out of the question, that helps too! I know it has done me the world of good and I never would have believed it but once I get going, I’m so thankful I had that push which after months becomes a drive! Good luck!

When I feel that badly, I can't do anything and I have never found something to help other than forcing myself to move a little bit every day and meditation to take my mind off of it. The more we focus on it, the worse it seems, at least for me. Distracting yourself, warm baths with epsom salt and essential oils like lavender. I do hope you find something that helps.
