Wahiawa, HI

The past 5 months or so I've been drinking an Ensure or two a day. Because of this, my cholesterol is now 346. Naturally, my stomach hurts but I can't eat. I have no hunger and the smell of food makes me want to vomit (I have several times). I've lost over 30 pounds and am a little over 100 right now.
Has this happened to anyone else?
Please?
love, beautiful healing light & soft hugs to you 💜

thank you so much for your input and help. I drank Ensure not because I liked it but I figured I'd get some nutritional benefit from it.
I see so many specialists it makes my head spin. When I take a step back it could be depression. I have an appointment to see an endocrinologist soon. I hope we ALL feel better💜

Same for me, I have had zero appetite for well over a year, honestly some days I can go the entire day and realize I ate nothing! Unlike you i havent lost weight, so when I go to the dr they run labs and most everything is normal except potassium, so now I take yet another med and still no appetite but somehow she wants me to come up with magic energy that all of us with fibro have and exercise to lose some weight...... hmmmmm i hate BMI index its such crap

You might need something interim to help eat. Zofran helps me.

Regalin helps my girlfriend.

Definitely go see a GI doctor though, and also notify your neurologist of the issue as it might be tied.

I was on Fortisip for a while to increase calorie intake so i wouldnt loose too much weight. I'm on a low fodmap diet and that has helped with stomach pain. Still get nauseas when pain is bad and have to force myself to eat something. Go to your gp and get referred to a specialist.

Is the liquid nutrition more appealing, or better than nothing? Have you seen your doctor? There is other liquid nutrition that will not impact your cholesterol in the same way, very worrisome number. What is docs opinion about appetite?
