So I have been trying to read anything and everything I can find about Fibro. I want to know as much as possible, but many things seem to contradict each other. I know that I read, that dizziness is normal...I even read an article that said fainting spells/passing out was normal. Is that true?

I know Fibro is mostly, suppose to be about the wide spread pain, but I seem to be bothered more by the accompanying other symptoms. I have GI issues, TMJ, dizziness, off-balance, headaches, anxiety… read more

Members rallied around someone describing confusing symptoms like dizziness, blank-out episodes, GI issues, and TMJ pain, with many sharing they experience the same frustrating pattern of normal test results despite feeling genuinely unwell. Several members offered practical strategies including fish oil supplements for TMJ relief, considering duloxetine for co-occurring depression, and exploring whether autoimmune conditions might explain symptoms that don't fit neatly into fibromyalgia. A recurring theme was validation of the frightening disconnect between how severe the symptoms feel and how often medical tests come back normal, with members emphasizing the importance of continued self-advocacy and community support through the uncertainty.

I do get dizzy. The crappy part is I can be sitting still on the couch and a dizzy spell hits me. I can be standing, not moving, and get a dizzy spell. I have no clue why or if I am to blame fibro for it. I don't want to put everything on fibro but again I have no clue why this happens.

My TMJ issues have been minimized by fish oil. I take two a day. When I run out and can't get to a new bottle I feel it within a day or two. Off--balance man you are just checking my boxes here.

Don't apologize. We are here to listen, vent and support each other.

Thanks for sharing about the fish oil for TMJ. I haven't found anything to help the TMJ.
