I had a double fusion in my cervical. they went through the front. It has helped with most of the pain I had in my neck going down to my shoulder. But i still have other pain. I spent my entire summer on the couch and could not drive.

Recover will be different for all, but it's very painful healing process

How far into your recovery are you?

I would plan to have someone for the first week at home to help with shopping, cooking, and personal care. I had 2 C-spine surgeries and found that I grossly underestimated my ability to do much of anything after coming home from the surgeries. I thought I was doing fine but that's easy when someone else is doing everything for you. Good luck with your surgery rest assured that when your ordeal is over you will have a big reduction in pain. Will be supporting my neck so eventually I would have to go back in
