Asking the question because most of the people I've known to go was usually due to back pain, for mostly injections. Some will not see patients for medication maintenance. Just curious as how well they manage fibromyalgia.

Members shared mixed experiences when asked about pain management clinics for fibromyalgia, with several describing feeling pressured into injections that sometimes worsened their pain or being treated like drug addicts when seeking medication support. Many community members found value in alternative approaches taught at pain clinics, including coping methods, yoga, meditation, physical therapy, TENS units, and Botox, with medical marijuana mentioned as particularly helpful for fibromyalgia symptoms. A recurring theme was that while complete pain freedom may not be possible, finding the right combination of treatments and a supportive, nonjudgmental pain management team can make pain more manageable and improve quality of life.

They have only helped with injections for back pain. She told me she probably couldn't make me pain free. The injection has really helped my right hip and back. Medical marijuana has been the best for the fibromyalgia symptoms. Still have a lot of arthritis pain.

For me personally the Pain Management Clinic did nothing for me.
They made me feel like a drug addict for taking Fibromyalgia medication they didn't help me at all.

But everyone is different and you should go and find out for yourself, if they help you out then they worked out for You.

My personal experience has been nothing but positive, supportive, and knowledgable.
My daughter has Kaiser and it is a terrible experience. Judgemental and degrading about opioid or cannabis use, and ignorant about chronic pain.
