Once in a while especially when cold my one fingertip is sore when pressed, today it's the thumb. I also get joint pain sometimes in my fingers. Is this a type of arthritis?
Yes I have arthritis in my finger joints. I drink Apple cider vinegar (teaspoon in warm water twice a day, add honey if two sharp) it reduces the inflammation in my hands. Visably so, and relieves the pain also.
I'm not sure what causes the pain, i would assime the inflammation. I have this kind of pain practically all the tine. Apparantly organic bone broth helps with inflammation. I've been trying to mske as often as I can. And, there's the gluten and sugar thst also aggravates symptoms. Drink lots of water!
Hope this helps!
Here's the bone broth link
Yeah I find that theres some days I can't even open a jar it's like my fingers and hands just have the strength and it's so frustrating xxxx
My doc seems to think its osteoarthritis. I have it everywhere...my hands dont creak but just stay really sore and stiff. Celebrex and lyrica has helped for awhile but I have noticed that its coming back.. fun fun I guess. I have had shots in my wrist to try to help my hands but it only lasts for a little while
Trish, Wish I was a doctor. You need to see one if it persists.
I have arthritis in the end joints of all fingers but thumbs. It tingles and feels weird often. Also sharp pain and oddly enough, itching. I also have swelling of middle finger joints. Dr calls that inflamed tendons. That causes tingling too. Supposes to have surgery, but he wants to fuse end joints, and I am a pianist.
Do check it out. They can give you steroid injections to help awhile. They are painful, but do help.
Hugs to you.
