Often before the on set of pain in any area of my body I find that it all starts with my skin being itcy. this them progresses to a feeling as iif my skin is burning. then the pain starts.

This sounds pretty classic for hypersensitive nerves and nerve pain (neuralgia). There are meds for it. Many find relief from warm Epsom salt baths or topical magnesium. You might also have help from creams designed to help restless legs. Just some ideas.

I have been itching on my back and have to use all kinds of oils my husband actually rubs my back and finds small crystals in my skin which he gets out sometimes it's painful

I skin itches all the time and sometimes I feel like a bug is on me it is awful

NancyEvans, I get the crystal thing. I get an intense itch and scratch the area and it’s almost like a grain of sand comes out of my skin, especially face, scalp and back.

yes, crazy itch that moves around all over my body.. so I can't sleep. Then the pain is intense. And i have bruised feeling spots only hurt when touched. New one coming.. Have tried benedryl for this itching at night. Doesn't help. Insomnia have my days and nights turned around. ugh
