I tried it quite awhile back. I got nothing good or bad from it. I've talked to some that it seemed to help. Its strictly trial and error with these. Just watch, write down anything out of the norm and call your dr about any changes not good. Take care my friend

It was terrible for me. I blew up like a balloon, had terrible nightmares and my personality changed so much my husband was ready to divorce me. I was on for two months. It took six to be weaned off it, very bad withdrawal symptoms and Eli Lily, the pharmaceutical company that makes it was sued because of this.

I’ve been on Cymbalta 3 times in the past 12 or more years. Its been a miracle drug for me. I only went off it because I twice lost my drug benefits and couldn’t afford it, and the increase in daily pain was significant. Inwas lucky the first time, after a couple of months my Dr was able to supply me with samples of 30mg that I took every other day. This helped a bit, til I was lucky to get back on 60mg daily.
I was diagnosed in 2000 by a new rheumatologist after a traumatic move, but am sure I’ve had undiagnosed fibromyalgia since the 70s. The move was hard mentally and physically and exacerbated my symptoms. I was eventually fired from my 20 year job. The first 12 years I was practically bedridden (also diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue) but since 2013 I’ve been getting better. I’ve given up my scooter and wheelchair in the past 4 years, have barely used my walker in the past 2 years, and now frequently go even without my cane. I’m even thinking of decreasing or weaning right off the Cymbalta. I also take methocarbamol 2-4 times a day and find it hrlps. Costco’s Kirkland brand is a real $ saver over Robaxacet and worth the membership fees alone. I also have used CBD in the past few years with success bug not often, though if i gome off Cymbalta I’ll likely start using it more.

I have been on Cymbalta for some time now. The only thing I do notice is if I don't take it regularly, which sadly with bipolar I tend to think I'm Fine and I skip doses, I get terrible headaches. So make sure to follow strictly to your schedule and doctor's orders.

I have been back on Cymbalta for the last 3-4 years and haven't noticed any side effects. I'm on it for nerve pain in my foot and depression.
