Breathing Issues

This might sound weird but does anyone else ever feel like their body doesn't want to breathe? I know it sounds weird, that's the best way I can put it.

Most of my pain (at the moment) is in my upper back, shoulders and chest and with my GERD acting up my entire chest feels like it's on fire. yes I've learned to live with it. It comes and goes. We tend to shallow breathe as well. As long as you've checked out fine honey. I know it's cold comfort. hugs

Hi there and good morning. I used to have symptoms as waking up gasping to breath and went to a sleep clinic found I had sleep anemia so they tracked it and went on a machine at night and it finally calmed down. Also if I thought about breathing I couldn’t get a deep breath so I had to distract my thoughts. Hope this is helpful. Have a wonderful day

i have gerd to and a chest condtion called samters triad sydrome and i have nose and thoat problems and costochondtritis also sleep anero so i really understand you feel .

I get this a lot i feel like if i dont concentrate on my breathing i will stop breathing i thought i was the only one who ever felt this its a very scary feeling
