Bentyl

Hi everyone,

I just started Bentyl to rule out if i havd IBS or if i need to do a colonoscopy to see if i have colitis. I just started Bentyl last night. I was having diaherria everyday for about 1 year. I had to increase my fiber because there was some stool collection, bowel movements are now normal. Pain is still really severe.

I am having issues with pain in my back after urinating but no UTI is present. Having urgency and peeing very often especcialy after a bowel movement.

If you have had all lady parts and organs checked and it was all fine look into pelvic pain syndrome. Your pelvic floor muscles could be spasming causing all or some symptoms.

A pelvic lain gynecologist or pelvic pain physical therapist specifically can test if tou have it. Very simple manual physical exam.
I have this. Had a colonoscopy and endoscopy, a hysteroscopy ( uterus scope), a cystoscopy (bladder scope) and CT, MRI, and transvaginal and abdominal ultrasound. No one knew what was causing the pain. Until the pelvic pain doctor felt the pelvic floor in full spasm. He said almost all of his pelvic pain patients have fibromyalgia as well.

KayJ I had one too! Bless you they are so painful! A lot of the time they go away on their own though!
Mine went up to 12/13cm wide!

I had issues with pain while having intercourse it’s due to a cys that is 4 cm big it hurts like hell. I will be getting it removed if it gets any bigger or hurts more.
