I just finished an antibiotic for a uti that went on for a while that had some flank pain before i started the antibiotics. I'm a week out of finishing and I'm having mild UTI symptom again but my flank pain has been coming an going on sense Tuesday maybe. Idk if it's infection or stones because the pain doesn't seem constant. Movement makes no difference and I've had no trouble going. Don’t leave it as you could end up with pylenephritis which is dangerous if left untreated. I often get flank pain with UTI’s but I’m also a chronic pylenephritis and sepsis case and learned the hard way. Hope you get it sorted out soon xo

I used to have infections alot until they told me to drink a glass of cranberry juice every day. I find this to be very helpful.

Perhaps the infection traveled to your kidneys. One of my friends gets this problem often when she has uti. Did your doctor also give you Pyridum? It really helps with pain relief and uti

It could very well be kidney stones as my dad had them and they are very jagged. When they move they hurt. They can do imaging to see if you have stones.
