I'm not sure if it is. I just start reading I on my back shift last night. It is good but it requires a huge life change.
Well, since he said fibromyalgia was "coined" 25 years ago, that tells me he doesn't know anything worth knowing. He should research subjects thoroughly before he writes a book. Fibromyalgia was actually "coined" in 1953 by Dr Graham and even back in 1904 Dr Gower called it fibrositis. Also that guy has several kinds of books about doctors not telling us something. But he has something to sell.
Yeah, I was like that the first 20 years or so. I bought a magnet bed, did cranial manipulation, accupuncture, etc. But somewhere around year 30, I started excepting this is my life. But I didn't like it! I just accepted it. I didn't try to change my thinking until I was forced out if my job when my migraines were every single day. I always have looked for beauty in the world, especially nature, but looking for joy took longer. I never understood how I could feel joy living in pain. Learning mindful meditation to retrain my brain started me down the new path that I am still exploring. But I agree with you in many ways. What if the answer is in the next book, or pill?
Is it on this site? Will check...
I just feel like my health keeps declining and I'm in pain more then not. Someday I'm asking my self how much longer can I work. This protocol has amazing reviews but it not for the faint of hearts. I feel very frustrated with the health care and how I personally have been unsupported from doctors and someone shouldn't be in pain everyday. I'm almost to the point where I'm willing to try almost anything.
