I get exactly the same pain behind left eye...feels like a needle piercing through my eye and back of brain!!!

Same thing - usually the right eye. Very painful!

I used to get those cluster headaches, and also my eye would get swollen and tear up...

Base of skull right thru my right eye, then spreads to left eye and I can’t really focus out of either. Just lie there, breathing and existing thru the pounding
