I just found out that I have severe peripheral neuropathy in my feet. Does anyone also have this with Fibro? I'm terrified that I might lose my feet.
I have peripheral neuropathy in both feet, both legs as well as bothhands up past my wrists. I have had it for over 10 years. I am on Gapentin 800 mg three times per day. My feet feel odd as it feels as though they are covered in panty hose rubbing over them all the time even though there is not. I wear compression hose. They actually feel good because they massage my legs all day. I know it has gotten worse over the years but I do not feel I will lose my feet, but do not like the feeling but the rheumatologist and neurologist are checking my feet, legs and arms periodically to make sure they are not getting worse. I just remember to dress warm in the winter and to cover up in the summers so I keep the sin off of me in the summer. Hugs and prayers. God bless
My feet and my shins and my ankles what's my next check myself into the hospital. I thought it was back problems they said no
Yes my feet feel weird all the time but just from reading posts on here, I realized it is part of fibro but I really should mention it to my doctor! It is kinda scary sometimes though, I have to admit!!!
I just described what was going on and he looked at my feet and could tell. My feet feel so much better now that I had some injections in them and upped my Gabapentin to 800 mg 3 X per day and added the antidepressant
may i ask how you were diagnosed? did you get an EMG?
