Do your bodies feel weak like jelly at times? And not because you're tired from the pain. But you just feel weak head to toe out of the blue, kinda tingly weak.

Members widely related to the unsettling feeling of sudden, unpredictable weakness throughout the body or in specific areas like the legs, describing it as a jelly-like sensation that can strike without warning and make standing, walking, or even daily tasks feel frightening or impossible. Several members shared that the weakness often worsens after overexertion, poor sleep, or stress, and many described legs randomly giving out, requiring canes or walkers, or needing to stop and steady themselves before attempting to move. A recurring theme was the frustration of trying to pinpoint the cause through tests that come back inconclusive, balanced by encouragement to pursue physical therapy, which one member credited with helping them regain the ability to walk after months of being largely housebound.

I do! Sometimes I have to stop myself from falling down the stairs, because my leg will just give way!

Four years ago I could not walk 20 ft, or stand more than 5 minutes. Mine was more about pain rather than weakness, but weakness quickly followed because I spent most of the day sitting or laying down on heating pads. I fell into a horrible depression because I had been forced into retirement. So I decided to get a dog...but you have to walk dogs. So I went to physical therapy. It took over 5 months but they got me walking again. If they don't find anything wrong, ask for PT.

Same here, it just happens in my legs. It is a very weird feeling and a little scary.

Yes, it’s a weird feeling and hard to explain. Almost feel like you are having an outer body experience. At least that’s how it makes me feel....🥴
