My chest pain is getting worse it feels like someone is jumping up and down on it then the sharp pains kick in im stating to struggle to breathe is this normal

It could be costochondritis which is an inflammation of the chest wall. It does seem to be another symptom of fibro. I went to the er twice before i was diagnosed. You should go get checked to rule out anything serious just to be safe. If they dont find anything wrong, see what they say about costo. Good luck. Hugs

That was what the doctors told me it was but was unsure as i suffer with colasped lungs

Costihdritus was the reason for my chest pain always best to get it checked over with your doctor x

I went to urgent care for this and they did an xray and found nothing. It hurt for 3 weeks, but has gone away.

Getting checked out can bring some peace of mind and hopefully answers. I often get chest pain that is benign but each time it is scary. I have been evaluated by a cardiologist to be sure. I definitely recommend being seen, especially if this is new.
