Members overwhelmingly agreed that driving with fibromyalgia can be exhausting and painful, with many describing sore legs, aching hands from gripping the steering wheel or operating a clutch, and needing days to recover from even short trips. Several members shared that they avoid driving during busy times or long distances, prefer motorway driving over stop-and-go traffic, rely on family members for rides when possible, or have stopped driving altogether due to fatigue, dizziness, or pain that flares up after just 15 minutes behind the wheel. A recurring theme was the bittersweet loss of independence, with some members mourning the freedom they once had while others find their car seat surprisingly supportive, even if the aftermath leaves them hurting for days.

It's so sad that we all have to suffer this much pain day in and day out you some times you go to bed and wish it's gone away the next morning
