Members widely shared that they experience numbness and tingling in their hands and feet, as well as a chronically sensitive and sore scalp that makes brushing or wearing ponytails painful. Several members described specific strategies for managing these symptoms, including using lidocaine on painful areas, wearing gloves to ease hand discomfort, switching to open-air brushes, and cutting hair shorter to reduce scalp pain. A recurring theme was the recognition that these symptoms are often linked to fibromyalgia and paresthesia, with members finding comfort in knowing they are not alone in these frustrating sensations.

Sometimes i get tingling in my hands. I cut my hair in a bob because pony's are too painful. I've always had a sensitive scalp

That's crazy I have the same feeling on my scalp. Everytime someone mentions something new they feel, so do I !

Also meant to put in my comment that I have to use open air brushes, if they start losing the painted tips I have to buy a new one, or repaint them. Sensitive scalp is a definite issue for me.
